PORTRAITS
Photographing people has been a large part of Amanda’s practice for years. As well as photographing people for personal projects, Amanda offers clients authentic, thoughtful images by commission. She often collaborates with charities and third-sector organisations. Much of this work involves documenting the lives of vulnerable communities, where her ability to create sensitive, human-centered imagery is essential. A recent commission inquiry from Homeless Charity, Whytham Hall put it best:
“…So we’re looking for someone really special, who can be empathetic and win trust. When I explained all of this to Tony, he said, ‘I know just the person.’ You…”
Amanda has held two solo exhibitions of portrait photography, Downtime and Getting to Know You. Both projects represented the uniqueness of the individuals photographed, with an emphasis on their passions.
